The Internet of Things is now in sync with real life. Businesses everywhere are turning their products into IoT solutions that generate ongoing service revenue, while providing deep value to people and culture. Talk about being well-connected! The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnection of uniquely identifiable embedded computing devices within the existing Internet infrastructure. IoT is the Network of physical objects accessed through the internet. Machine to Machine (M2M) refers to technologies that allow both wired and wireless systems to communicate with cach other. Aim of this project is developing a wearable device targeting a specific but important segment of our society making technology pervasive by interweaving it into daily life. The device will be capable of tracking information like movement, steps, sleep, heart rate, fall, body temperature, which are all part of quantified self. Design of a GPS module to accurately measure distance, speed, time, altitude, and pace, being used for tracking locations in emergency. Actigraphy give users reports on the number of kilometres they walked, hours of sleep, fall detection and many more. Integration with pulse oximeter: Pulse oximetry is a non invasive method that enables the measurement of a person’s blood oxygen saturation. Vital signs measured by this module are pulse (heart rate), temperature and SpO2 are being monitored.
